Belfast Waterfront, a stunning multi-purpose entertainment and conference centre. The building was designed by a local architect company in 1987 and completed in 1997. Waterfront Hall Auditorium seats 2 241 people in addition to 380 people seating capacity of the Studio. The venue boasts few bars and a restaurant. It is a main venue for the Belfast Festival at Queen’s and it hosted such guests as Atomic Kitten, Planxty, Carrie Underwood
as well as Britain’s Got Talent audition.
The Waterfront Hall is situated on 2 Lanyon Place in Belfast. It is easily accessible by train, bus and car.
By train and tube: the nearest railway station would be Central Station, East Bridge Street, located within 5 minutes of walking distance from your destination.
By bus: if you are taking a bus from Belfast City Centre, you will need bus route 11a which will take you to Laganside Bus Centre. This stop is located within 2 minutes of walking distance from the Waterfront Hall.
By car: if you take East Bridge East, you can turn onto Lanyon Place or Oxford Street. Both of them will lead you to the Waterfront Hall.
International: the venue is located 8 minutes drive away from the George Best Belfast City Airport (via A2) and 23 minutes drive away from the Belfast International Airport (via M2 motorway).
There are two car parks, located in close proximity to the venue. Hilton Car Park and Lanyon Place parking are only a hundred metres away and offer designated parking spots for blue badge holders on all levels.
Access for people with special needs
The venue provides designated areas for the guests in wheelchairs. Accessible toilets are provided at the venue. There is a ramp and a lift access to the building. Service dogs are always welcome.
