Odyssey Arena opened its doors in December 2000. This multi-purpose indoor venue hosts conferences, exhibitions, sports events, large scale shows and amazing concerts. With 11 000 people capacity, the Arena is the biggest indoor venue in whole Ireland. The Arena boasts four main parts: The Arena (hosting big sporting events and concerts), W5 (used for science exhibitions), The Pavilion (featuring Storm multiplex, nightclubs, restaurants and bars) and the Sheridan IMAX (first 3D IMAX in Northern Ireland). The venue is located on 2 Queens Quay in Belfast and is easily accessible by car, bus, and train.
By train and tube: If you choose to travel by train, keep in mind that the Great Victoria Street Station and Central Station are located only a mile away from the Odyssey Arena.
By bus: If you prefer travelling by bus, lines 26 (including 26A and 26B) are regularly leaving the Belfast City Center to deliver you right to the Odyssey Pavilion.
By car: The venue is accessible from all directions and located only 100 metres from the M3 motorway. If you are coming from M2 direction, just follow the signs for the M3. If you are coming from the Outer Ring, aim for the city bound Sydenham by-pass. Take the right turn to the Dee Street and then turn left onto Sydenham Road. Coming from the M1/A1, just join the A12 Westlink and follow the signs to M3.
International: The Odyssey Arena is located only 2 miles away from George Best Belfast City Airport and 15 miles from Belfast International Airport. Your journey will take 4 minutes if you are driving from the first one and 21 minutes if you are coming from the second one.
Odyssey Arena has its own car park which boasts 1500 spaces, including parking for people with disabilities. There is also alternative Public Parking available nearby, such as Titanic Quarter.
Access for people with special needs
There are lifts and ramps available for patrons with disabilities to get into the building as well as 12 unisex wheelchair accessible toilets. There are also dedicated areas provided for people in a wheelchair.
