All Saints Tickets

The British ladies' quartet “All Saints” started in 1993. By 1997, when there was released their first album, the girls were as popular as “Spice Girls” whom the team actually resembled: two blondes, one white brunette and one metis. However, the main difference that distinguished “All Saints” was their ability to compose music and texts, and also softer and intelligent image.

About All Saints

Igniting the star

In 1993, “All Saints” were a duet. Melanie Blatt, half the Frenchwoman, and Shaznay Lewis, whose ancestors were from solar Jamaica, began to write down music in R&B style. The vocalist Simon Rainford worked with them for some time, and they issued a single together, but then their ways dispersed. Then girls decided to strengthen the line and invited two little sisters, nee Canadians Natali Appleton and Nicole Appleton. By means of the good friend Karl Gordon, the former participant of the British rap group “Outlaw Posse”, “All Saints” wrote down a demo song "I Know Where It's At". The new manager John Benson has achieved a contract with "London Records" and has handed the destiny of the confidantes to experienced producers Nellee Hooper and Cameron Makvi. Thanks to their efforts, the song reached the 4th place in the British charts and flew about all Europe and Asia. The second single "Never Ever" (1997) has repeated success of the first.

Peak of glory

And in 1998 “All Saints” began to reap the fruits of success: they have received two awards of "BRITS Awards", four nominations on MTV and two – at the prestigious tender MOBO. They acted in Dave Stewart's movie "Honest". And then Shaznay – the main creative force of “All Saints” – began to think of recording of the second album. Shaznay and Orbits have brought a lot of new in a sound and in the melody-tool capacity of the group. Their "Pure Shoes" (which has entered a soundtrack to the movie "Beach") reached the daily sales of about 50 thousand singles a day and became a mega record of 2000.

Apart and together

In February 2001 a long imminent split in “All Saints” became a reality. The quartet broke up. Girls ran up in different directions in search of new glory, new progress. In the summer of 2001, Melanie Blatt let out the solo single "TwentyFourSeven". Shaznay Lewis continued to write music together with the producer of “All Saints” K Gee. The sisters Appleton composed new songs too. On 24 January 2006, it was announced that the band had reformed and began to work on their third studio album, Studio 1(2006). Then in 2008 separated again. The next reunion was in 2013 with the new album “Red Flag” (2016).
