About Alkaline

How It All Started

Earlan’s first attempt to commit lyrics to paper took place when he was only 14 and by 16 he was already producing (and recording) his own records. While he was still in high school, he was balancing school and his new career by recording music in local studios. Right now the artist is pursuing a degree in Media and Communication at the University of West Indies. In addition to that, Alkaline is a huge Martin Luther King follower and enthusiast. On top of that, in addition to loving his music and life, in general, he also names video games, fishing and fashion among his passions.

Breakthrough

His first breakthrough was in 2013 with his songs “Things Mi Love” and “123”. After that he released “Things Mi Love” and “Raw As Eva EP” in 2014, followed by “Ride Or Die EP” in 2015, and recent “New Level Unlocked” in 2016. The young artist claims that his music is representing all that society is fearing while the society is representing all that he is afraid of. Alkaline is definitely famous for one of the “baddest” lyrics, slick production, killer hooks and hardcore rhymes. Some of his popular songs include "ATM", "Champion Boy", "Ride On Me", as well as "Conquer the World". With Alkaline youth, energy, believes and a fresh outlook on the world and society, he is gaining more and more popularity while spreading the words of truth and wisdom.
