Aled Jones Tickets

Aled Jones is the Welsh singer. Jones was born on December 29, 1970. At 8, he sang in a church choir. In 1982, he became the winner of the competition Cerdd Dant. His career was temporarily stopped when his voice began to break at 16. Till that time he had already recorded 16 albums and distributed more than 6 million of copies. Jones went on to study at the Royal Conservatory and the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School before starting his adult career. Aled received popularity after the emergence of a cover version of the song “Walking in the Air”.

He worked together with Mike Oldfield (“Pictures in the Dark”) and Leonard Bernstein (“Chichester Psalms”). In 2003, he travelled to Australia twice: in a promo-tour in the support of an album “Aled” and with a concert tour. Aled let out the second album “Higher”. In 2004, he let out a New Year's album “The Christmas Album”.

Presenter

He worked as a presenter at Classical FM, the Welsh radio and television (S4C). He operated at the BBC in 2006. He is also the presenter of Friday Night is Musical Night. Aled was also the regular presenter for Sara Kennedy and Ken Bruce on Radio 2. In 2010, Jones has offered the releases of “Escape to the Country” and “Cash in the Attic” for television of the BBC.

New Works

In 2005, there was an album “New Horizons”. The same year appeared his autobiographical book. In 2006, Jones went on a tour, supporting his album “New Horizons”. In 2006, there was an album of the best hits “You Raise Me Up-The Best of Aled Jones”. Aled let out a new album “Reason to Believe” in 2007. In total, Jones has produced more than 30 albums. A lot of them have become gold or platinum in the UK and Australia. Jones is known for his lyric baritone, though he expressed his desire to move to a traditional tenor register.
