O2 Apollo Manchester was opened on August 29th, 1938. Right now, it is one of the premier concert venues in England. The facility was rebranded as the O2 Apollo Manchester in 2010; the former name was simply Apollo Theatre. This Art Deco style, Grade II listed facility supports a capacity of 2693 for seated events and 3500 for standing ones. This venue hosts a large number of music-based concerts, which include world known bands as Motorhead, Judas Priest, Slayer
and many more, not less popular performers.
