One of the most remarkable landmarks in the city of Sheffield, the Sheffield City Hall is a popular venue for live music performances, as well other types of events, such as conferences, exhibits, business gatherings or product launches. The plan of the edifice was designed in 1920, by the renowned British architect E. Vincent Harris. The building itself was opened in 1932. In 2005, it underwent an extensive renovation. The Sheffield City Hall has a capacity of 2271 people.
