The production was staged for the first time on October 8, 2013, at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco. Due to its immeasurable success and its huge ticket sales, the show made it to the American Broadway one year later. Since February 25 last year, Beautiful - The Carole King Musical can also be attended at the Aldwych Theatre in the West End of London. Notably, a full United Kingdom nationwide tour is scheduled for next year.
