Constructed between 2009 and 2011, the Lee Valley Velopark is an enormous cycling centre located on the premises of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, in East London. The venue is a popular location amongst those who love track cycling, BMW and mountain biking. The velodrome has a size of 250 meters and features a huge capacity of 6750 people. Building costs amounted to the bedazzling sum of 22 million pounds. The venue is famous for hosting the 2011 UCI BMW Supercross World Cup and the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
