, remaining true to their quest to stage only the best music acts and bands. Offering grandeur and intimacy at the same time, this venue also delivers live DJ sets that blend in perfectly into the well-proportioned scenery comprised of three music rooms and a big outdoor smoking area.
The Plug is situated on 14-16 Matilda St in Sheffield and can be easily accessible by car, metro, train or bus.
By train and tube: The Plug is situated at an 11 minutes walk from the Sheffield Train Station.
By bus: You can easily reach the location by bus. There are a couple of options available if you choose this mode of transportation, like the 6, 18, 32, 56, 65, 252, 3, 4 and 10a lines. All of them leaving you in the vicinity of the venue.
By car: When going by car, you can choose the M1, then enter the A61, followed by A621, exit at Furnival Gate and then turn left onto Matilda Street. If you come from the South, after exiting the M1 at junction 33, take A621 until you reach the Furnival Gate and then turn left.
International: The Doncaster Sheffield Airport is situated 37 minutes away from the venue if travelling by car; or, one hour and a half away if you choose a bus that stops in front of the terminal exit.
The Plug is situated near the APCOA car park, where you can get secure parking for only £4. This facility is open 24/7, and it’s always patrolled by security guards. And, of course, plenty of spots are reserved for the Blue Badge holders.
