“Rae Sremmurd” is the American hip-hop duo, consisting of brothers Aaquil (Slim Jimmy) and Khalif (Swae Lee) Browns. The brothers were born in California, but at an early age, they moved to Tupelo, the state of Mississippi. In the summer of 2014, they became famous thanks to the singles “No Flex Zone” and “No Type”. The clip on the track “NoType” gained more than 100 million viewings and the guys received the first certification from YouTube.

The Emergence
In 2009, the Browns and their friend Lil Pantz created “Dem Outta St8 Boyz” group and began to record freestyles on various hits. In 2012, the local radio stations began to rotate their single “Party Animal”. Later this year they won a competition of talents and were invited to show “106 & Park”, known in the USA. In 2014, “Dem Outta st8 Boyz” signed the contract with Ear Drummers Entertainment. Soon after that, the group changes the name for Rae Sremmurd (Ear Drummers written back to front). In 2015, Sremmurd let out the debut album “SremmLife”.Debuts
“SremmLife” debuted at number 5 in a rating of albums of the USA, Billboard 200, and the guys made four more singles. The first of them, under the name “No Flex Zone”, was let out in 2014. The song received considerable attention of mass media after the official remix was released by rappers with Nicki Minaj and Pusha T. The song held on the 36th position in Billboard Hot 100. Their second single under the name “No Type”, which rose to the 16th place in Hot 100, became their most successful single. Both singles were certified by RIAA platinum. The third single from the album, “Throw Sum Mo” together with Nicki Minaj and Young Thug held on 30th place in Hot 100. “This Could Be Us” became the fourth single and “Come Get Her” was the 5th one. The second studio album under the name “SremmLife 2”left in 2016 and a video clip on the song “By Chance” appeared.Rae Sremmurd tour dates
