One Night Only Tickets

“One Night Only” was formed in the summer of 2003. Originally, Mark “Mittens” Hayton, Daniel “Pob” Parkin, Sam “Gunner” Ford, and Kai Smith were the part of it. Then the group had no vocalist yet, but then George Craig, the friend of the brother Sam Ford joined the company. He was asked to become the vocalist, but Craig insisted that he can better play the guitar. Then the group was left by Kai Smith. Contrary to some information, they didn't begin as “The Beatles” cover group – at first they really sang songs of such groups as “Blink-182”, “New Found Glory”, and “The Beatles”, but they also played their own songs.

About One Night Only

The Name

The name “One Night Only” appeared when the group was asked to arrange a concert. They had no name at that time and therefore thought up “One Night Only”, meaning that the performance of the group will last only one night. However, the name of the group remains to this day.

Creative Work

They played their first concert on December 12, 2003 in Kirkbymoorside Memorial hall, which for some time became the popular place of their performances. In 2005, the keyboard player Jack “Fish” Sails joined the group. The group appeared on The Friday Night Project, having performed the third single “It's About Time”. George Craig also appeared at Hollyoaks, having performed the acoustic version of the same song.

Touring

In 2007, the group went touring with “Milburn” and “Pigeon Detectives”. Their first header tour began in January 2008 and ended in March. Their biggest header tour took place in the fall of 2008. They have also played at several festivals, including Isle of Wight, Oxegen, and Glastonbury. The following tour the group held with the assistance of “General Fiasco” rock trio from Northern Ireland. The audience and the group met on such platforms as Lincoln Engine Shed and The Astoria. They began the next tour on June 15, 2010.
