Teleman in Manchester Interesting facts
“Teleman” is a London quartet, formed by the former members of “Pete and the Pirates”’ Peter Cattermoul and brothers Thomas and Johnny Sanders. The current lineup of the band comprises Tomas Sanders (vocals, guitar), Johnny Sanders (keyboards), Pete Cattermoul (bass guitar), and Hiro Amamiya (drums). The basis of the creative work of the new team was a demo recorded by Tom at home. They attracted the attention of producer Bernard Butler and a notorious independent label Moshi Moshi Records, which resulted in the edition of their debut single “Cristina / In Your Fur” in January 2013. Manchester Academy 2 is located inside the Students’ Union building on the second floor. It has a seating capacity of 800 people. Currently, it hosts up to 150 gigs a year, ranging from pop, rock, and jazz to RnB and classical concerts. There are more than ten restaurants on site serving a vast range of cuisines. Moreover, 4 bars cater to visitors before and after each event. Furthermore, Manchester Academy 2 can be used for business conferences or private functions, such as wedding receptions or birthdays.
