Luke Bryan, the real name is Thomas Luther Bryan, was born in Leesburg, Georgia. At 14, his parents bought the first guitar and when Luke learned to play, he began to play in local groups. Their concerts took place in local clubs. After leaving school, Bryan intended to move to Nashville, the State of Tennessee. But he arrived to Nashville only in 2001 due to some circumstances.

Beginning

Having begun to work as the author of songs, Bryan received some popularity as the song author for other performers. So, his song got to an album “My Honky Tonk History” of Travis Tritt. In addition, he became the coauthor of the known single of Billy Currington under the name “Good Directions”. Later, in 2007, “Hot Country Songs” got to a chart.

First Disk

His first single Luke was released in the same 2007. The record was called “Al My Friends Say”. To the middle of the year, the single took the 5th place in the chart ‘Hot Country Songs’. The first album “I'll Stay Me” went out the same year. He became the author or coauthor of 11 tracks out of 12 from the album.

Further Works

The second disk “Doin' My Thing”, left in 2009 with the label of Capitol Nashville, received the gold status. His next disk “Tailgates & Tanlines”, issued in 2011, received the platinum status in the USA and gold in Canada. The most known compositions of this disk are “Country Girl (Shake It for Me)”, “I Don't Want This Night to End”, and “Drunk on You”.

Awards

Among Brian's awards there is a prize from Academy of Country Music Awards, the award CMT - Country Music Television and Country Music Association Awards in 2010; in 2011 he was given Teen Choice Awards, American Country Awards and one more award from TV men of CMT Music Awards; the musician received the third award of CMT Music Awards in 2012.
