The Shipping Forecast is, without any doubt, one of the most popular venues for live music events and DJ nights in Liverpool. Getting there
Due to its central location, on Slater Street, you can easily arrive at the Shipping Forecast regardless of whether you prefer the car, the bus or the train.
By train and tube: the Shipping Forecast is within a 5-min walking distance from the Liverpool Central train station.
By bus: the venue is in the close vicinity (4-min walking distance) of the following bus stations: adj Seel Street (routes 25, 30, 30A, 75, 76, 79, 80, 80A, 82, 82B, 86, 86A and 86C), Hanover Street (routes 30, 30A, 30E, 75, 76, 80, 80A, 80E, 86, 86A and 86C) and adj Benson Street (routes 82 and TX1A).
By car: visitors of the Shipping Forecast will have no trouble getting there by car, as the venue is in the proximity of the Edge Ln/A5080 main road.
International: international travellers should know that it only takes 26 minutes to get from the Liverpool John Lennon Airport to the Shipping Forecast by car. Alternatively, you can take the bus 50o - the stop is right at the terminal exit.
Parking facilities
While the pub/club does not own a private parking, customers can park at the Q Park – Hanover Street Car Park, which is just a 4-minute walk from the venue and has plenty of spots reserved for Blue Badge Holders.
Access for people with special needs
Unfortunately, the venue isn’t wheelchair accessible. However, assistants are welcome free of charge; guide dogs are allowed, too.
