“Kodaline” is the Irish rock band from Dublin, which was known initially as the “21 Demands”. Formed in 2005, it changed its first name to “Kodaline” in 2011. They play music in the genre alternative rock, indie. Group members: Steve Garrigan, Mark Prendergast, Vinny May, Jason Boland. Steve and Mark were neighbors in the village of Swords, they went to school and took part in various competitions of performers. In 6 years, they met Vincent, who was also from Swords – and they began to form a group “21 Demands”. Later Jason Boland joined them.

2005 – 2011: “21 Demands”
“21 Demands” participated in the show ‘You're a Star’ in 2006, where they became known. In 2007, “21 Demands” issued their own single “Give Me a Minute”, which took the 1st place in the Irish charts.
2012 – 2014: “In a Perfect World”
In 2012, the team let out their debut mini-album – “The Kodaline EP”. Their track “All I Want” was chosen as the best song of the week at BBC Radio 1. The BBC reported that “Kodaline” was in the list Sound of 2013, where the most famous music critics look for new talents. In 2013, “Kodaline” issued their first studio disc “In a Perfect World”.
It consists of 11 songs, comprising the re-included “High Hopes”, “All I Want”, “Love Like This”, and “Pray”. The disc also has seven new songs. In a CD version, live recordings from a concert in Dublin were added. Their record “All I Want” was used in the show Catfish on MTV. This song can also be heard in the series “Grey's Anatomy” and “The Vampire Diaries”.
New Releases
In 2014, a cover of Paul McCartney's single “Coming Up (song)” appeared. In 2015, they let a new studio disc “Coming Up For Air”, the song “Honest” was loaded on YouTube, and a few days later and the song “Unclear”.
