The sensational debut of the rapper from Brooklyn happened in 1996. From that point, his prompt career began. Jay Z begins to release an album per year and million circulations follow them. He begins to shoot hits, as from a machine gun.

The same year the artist became a headliner at Hot 97's Summer Jam 2001 with his hit “Takeover”. It should be noted that after this record the song duel between Jay Z and his colleagues Prodigy and Nas began. In total, the rapper recorded 11 albums and 5 joint projects.
