J. Cole Tickets

Jermaine Lamarr Cole was born on January 28, 1985 in Frankfurt, Germany. Looking for good luck where his contemporaries didn't manage to find it, J. Cole brings new in hip-hop music. J. Cole was brought up by his mother in Fayetteville, Northern Carolina. The hometown affected him and gave the experience which influenced his music. Cole became fond of rap at 12 when his cousin from Louisiana showed the bases of rhymes.

Youth

This hooked Jermaine. He went deep into the creativity of hip-hop stars among whom were 2Pac, Nas and Outkast. At 15, he began to write the first rhymes, but J. Cole had no bits. Full of determination to create original music, he asked his mum for a drum machine to do bits only for himself. She met his desire and from this point, young Cole spent all the free time, creating bits and songs, which will lay the foundation for his style.

Graduation and the First Release

Feeling need to be heard, J. Cole used college as an instrument for achieving success. He visited Saint John ’s University on the academic grant. He chose school to be in the center of the musical industry – New York. After finishing the study with honors, J. Cole together with DJ O Point let out the debut mixtape under the name “The Come Up” (2007). The mixtape indicates the talent of J. Cole for writing rhymes and producing. With such a variety, J. Cole is ready to blow up the sleeping industry of rap with his name. Then, J. Cole let out two more mixtapes and prepares the debut album under the name “For Cole World: The Sideline Story”, released in 2011.
