The British soul-pop band “Simply Red” was created in 1984 by Mick "Red" Hucknall (vocals) and three ex-participants of the team “Durutti Column” – Tony Bowers (bass), Chris Joyce (drums), and Tim Kellett (keyboards), in addition, Sylvan Richardson (guitar) and Fritz McIntyre (keyboards). Mick was born on June 8, 1960 in Manchester, England.
