The Old Fruitmarket is a venue that is part of the City Halls complex which has retained many of its original period features. Operating as a music venue since around the 1970’s, it has a capacity of 1,525 people, 450 cabaret style (plus 300 standing), or 600 theatre style (plus 300 standing). It has hosted concerts by many top performers including the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Morgan James, and The Staves
Located right in the heart of Glasgow city centre, in Candleriggs, The Old Fruitmarket is easily accessible by car, train, bus, or subway.
By train and tube: Queen Street, High Street, Argyle Street, and Central Stations are a short ten-minute walk from the venue. The closest subway station is St Enoch and is about a ten-minute walk from the club.
By bus: From Trongate, take lines 16, 18, 31, 37, 40, 41, 43, 61, 62, 64, 240, 255, 262. From Glassford Street - 5, 7, 12, 20, 66, 75, 203, 267.
By car: Take junction 15 off the M8 motorway and turn left onto Castle Street. Follow the road down until you come onto the High Street, then at the fourth set of traffic lights, take a turn right to Ingram Street. Follow the road down and Candleriggs is the second street on the left.
International: The Old Fruitmarket is situated just 10 miles from Glasgow Airport down the M8 motorway.
There are various pay and display public car parks nearby including the Qpark on Albion Street and the NCP Glasshouse on Glassford Street, which can accommodate Blue Badge holders.

Entrance to The Old Fruitmarket is at ground level and is fully accessible for anyone with mobility issues. There are lifts giving access to all floors which are fitted with both Braille and a voice announcement system. Guide dogs are also welcome at the venue.
