Primal Scream Glasgow Tickets

The founder of “Primal Scream” was its unchanging leader and vocalist Bobby Gillespie. At the time of the birth of a new band, Gillespie played the drums in the team “Jesus & Mary Chain”, which played gothic-rock and was the complete opposite of “Primal Scream”. Already in 1985, the band signed to Creation Records label and soon released two singles. In May 1985, with the lineup consisting of Gillespie, Beattie, Young (then-the bassist), Tom McGurk (drums) and Martin St. John (percussion), the band released their debut album “All Fall Down”.
