The O2 ABC 2 is a nightclub and music venue located in the centre of Glasgow, United Kingdom. Originally constructed in 1875, this facility is protected as a category C listed building. Since 2009 the Academy Music Group rebranded the building as The O2 ABC. With a glorious Art Deco façade and a capacity of 350 people, you will remain stunned after visiting the club. Well-known performers such as Jasmine Thompson, Kid Ink, Beyond the Black and many others had their concerts hosted by the venue.
The club is located on 300 Sauchiehall St, Glasgow G2 3JA, Scotland, and there are several ways of getting there:
By train and tube: the nearest station is Charing Cross – about 700 meters away from the building. Exit the station and head east on Bath St; on the first junction, go to the north on Elmbank St. When you reach Sauchiehall St, head east and walk a couple of minutes, till you see the venue.
By bus: numbers 15, 17, 77, 369 can lead you a minute away to the west from the building.
By car: you can make a turn to Sauchiehall St from M8 highway.
International: take a rail from Partick, Bellgrove or Barnhill. Exit at Charing Cross station and have a walk to the venue (as shown above).
There are available street parking spots close to the venue, which are free after 6 pm or 8 pm. Apart from those, the Q-Park Sauchiehall St. is the nearest 24-hour multi-storey car park. There are some accessible parking bays for Blue Badgers at the Q-Park.
