Cornell Haynes or as he will be called later, Nelly, was born in Texas, on November 2, 1978. In 1996, he formed a group “St. Lunatics” along with his high school friends. After some searching of “the door to show business”, the group had a unique opportunity to record its single the same year. Soon, the single “Gimmie What You Got” was born. The band members were the producers. The single became very popular in St. Louis, and was sold a good circulation of 7000 copies. Nevertheless, the group has not achieved the desired popularity.
