The electronic music duo Disclosure was formed 2010 in England. It was created by the two brothers – Guy Lawrence and Howard Lawrence. Grew up in Reigate, Surrey, and born in a family of performers, their interest in music began increasing more with every year of their life.
They both started off learning piano, guitar, and vocals when they were very young. Guy was hitting the drums at the age of three, and Howard started playing bass when he was eight years old.

Setting up
Although both brothers had a strong interest in studying music technologies, and Guy was leading the pack to success. He was strongly influenced by musicians like Chicago House, Detroit Techno, UK Garage, and 2-step garage. He then quickly began introducing his brother to that exciting music hype. Later on, they started to copy and de-construct electronic music and began fulfilling their dreams.Debut and awards
The brothers made their debut with the “Offline Dexterity” garage album in 2010. Further on, the band advanced their first studio album “Settle”, which was released on 3 June 2013. It was quickly nominated for the 2014 Grammy Awards as Best Dance/Electronica Album. After the worldwide success and an international tour, the duo started working on a second studio album named “Caracal”. When it was first shown off, the album became an immediate hit in the media and was once again nominated at the Grammy Awards in 2016.Live
Disclosure had multiple live experiences in cities such as Paris, Sydney, Shanghai, and many more. The duo took part in the Reading Festival of the year 2014. The band composed worldwide hits, featuring Lorde, Eliza Doolittle, Sam Smith, AlunaGeorge, Gregory Porter, The Weeknd, and other famous performers. The brother’s duo never had any problems during their career. They escalated very quickly to the top of the electro music genre.
