Crystal Fighters is a British folk/electronic band, formed in London, the UK in 2007. Their first album, “Star of Love”, was released in fall 2010 in the United Kingdom, followed by a release in the US through Atlantic Records in April 2012. Their next album named “Cave Rave” was released in May 2013. Crystal Fighters consist of Mimi Borelli (vocals), Laure Stockley (vocals), Graham Dickson (guitar, txalaparta), Gilbert Vierich (percussion, txalaparta, guitar, electronics) and Sebastian Pringle (guitar, lead vocals).

Career
Dickson, Vierich and Pringle started writing music under different guises before being joined by Mimi Borrelli and Laure Stockley. The group acquired Andrea Marongiu as a drummer in fall 2010. Speaking about the music style, the band plays both acoustic and electric guitars, which adds a lot of drums, synths and timbre, and incorporates traditional Basque such as txalaparta, danbolin and txistu. In other words, Crystal Fighters' style is a real fusion of genres. It all started when a music website Palms Out Sounds picked up Crystal Fighters’ song "I Love London" in 2008, and the song started to gain popularity. The hit was then followed by two released singles through record label Kitsuné in 2009.Star of Love
Star of Love was the Crystal Fighters’ first album, released to critical acclaim in the United Kingdom in 2010 through the group own label Zirkulo. Singles released from the album are "In The Summer","Xtatic Truth" and "I Love London". Single "Plage" was used to soundtrack different commercials. Crystal Fighters' second album is called “Cave Rave”, featuring the first main single “You & I”. It was recorded in Los Angeles and was released in spring 2013.
