A Scottish band The Fratellis was formed in 2005 in Glasgow. Today, their songs and albums systematically break into the charts with top-ten positions. According to one version, the name of the band was taken from The Fratellis bassist’s mother’s last name. The other version of the name history is that it is a slightly modified translation of an Italian word ‘brothers’. In 2007, The Fratellis won BRIT Awards as Best British Breakthrough Act.
