About Caravan Palace
The Beginning
It all started when Loïc Barrouk got interested in the project and booked the group a series of gigs and a recording studio. More performers were needed for the live concerts so other three current band members were found after a search on MySpace.
The band became famous online after few promo singles and demos were released. Between 2006 and 2007 the Caravan Palace spent a year touring France. That year they made their first festival appearance at the Django Reinhardt Jazz Festival. Following that, the band was signed by the record label Wagram Music. The next year they spent working on material for their first studio album.
Hard Work
The first self-named studio album of the Caravan Palace was released in October 2008 under the Wagram Label. The record charted in France, Belgium and Switzerland. It reached a peak position in few European charts and was praised for its traditional jazz inclination.
Caravan Palace releases their second official single "Suzy" right at the beginning of 2009.
In October, 2011, the band releases an EP named “Clash”, which features 2 new songs and their four remixes. The second album, “Panic”, was released in March, 2012. Singles “Comics” is released in June, 2015 and “Lone Digger” in September, 2015.
The Caravan Palace’s third studio album, “<|°_°|>”, was released in October, 2015.
