Bugzy started in 2011 doing small freestyles, launching them on Youtube, following his passion, after turning to boxing out of necessity. Three years later he released “The Journal of an Evil”, a mixtape which made waves. It wasn’t just the waves he made, though, the JDZmedia product getting over 2 million views on Youtube as soon as it was released. The beginning was promising, although this wasn’t Bugzy’s first mixtape – he released three others in 2010, 2011 and 2012. The talented Manchester-born rapper embraced everything Social Media and technology had to offer, so he created a fan base via Youtube, where he quickly gained fame. His raw videos and sincere lyrics were strongly appreciated, so his popularity grew almost overnight. 

Putting the grime on the musical map

His fame rose even more in 2015 when Bugzy released his Fire in The Booth, an attack MC Chip, which eventually led to “Relegation Riddim”. The “musical war” started between the two artists put the grime scene on the map once again.  “Watch your Mouth”, Bugzy’s first official single was a real success in the UK, while his first EP, “Walk with Me” reached the Nr. 8 position in UK Album charts, getting over 2 million views on Youtube.  This year, Malone released “Facing Time”, his EP which started some serious riots on iTunes (Beyonce’s “Lemonade” had no chance!). Bugzy is genuine in his music, and his lyrics are inspiring. “I’m someone who’s turned their life into a work of art”, he said in an interview, and he has just started his journey on this path.
